I spent the first 26 years of my life in a perpetual state of anxiety, stress and sadness. I worked myself to the bone and achieved a lot, but always had an underlying sense of unease. I ended up in therapy and on antidepressants. I struggled to find a sense of calm and peace, but it always seemed to allude me.
